FIRST DIVES
Dive in the swimming pool located at the middle of the Show Hall!
During all the Show, an heated 300 sq.m. swimming pool is at the visitors' disposal in order to practice many things. To discover diving with a breathing equipment, apnea, snorkelling tour or to test some new equipments... nothing easier! Take you swim suit and a towel, a crew is in charge of the rest... Everyone is welcome, from 8 years old. And so, do not hesitate breaking the water and leave the show with some awesome memories and some gifts!

Demonstrations and conference with the World Apnea Champion, Guillaume NERY
It was on August 6th that Guillaume Nery broke the wolrd apnea reord in monofin. In order to share his passion for apnea, Guillaume Nery has chosen to be at the Paris Dive Show this year. On Saturday 13th at 3 pm, will be shown at the swimming pool side the film « Voyage à 109 m » made during its last record by Jérôme Espla. Through this documentary, Guillaume Nery tells us his descent to 109 m, his preparation, his last inhalation, his meeting with the sea. Guillaume Nery, after his response to your questions, will dive into the swimming pool at the middle of the Show Hall to make a demonstration of static apnea. It will not be an attempt to break a record but only a way to make you discover the preparation and the immersion of a great Champion.

FIRST DIVES
First dives and demonstration of rebreathers
If some of you haven't tried yet to dive with rebreathers, it's the shot to get. A crew of specialized instructors is at your disposal, either to train you in the Show swimming pool, either to make you discover this unknown equipment. Rebreathers from different brands and with different functioning systems will be introduced and explained. A « tek space » open to all!

WATER ACTIVITIES
Target shooting is one of the 13 activities of FFESSM. We are here to give you through a network of centers a recreational and pragmatic approach of the water environment. The world of silence as said Jacques Mayol is magical, you might have already test it this summer, and so why not going on during the whole year in a swimming pool to keep your form for the next summer. Target shooting is an activity that does not ask for a lot and that have a lot of benefits for the body. Concentration, management and listening to one's body has a certain physiologic way. It will give your body a good form in a soft way, because the water is hard for the joints but good for muscles. Target shooting is the link between apnea and shooting. And so, go to the stand C18ter and take a shot in the Show swimming pool... From 8 years old, you are able to make a shot and after a try, you will not want to give it up!

HONOURED DESTINATION
The Reunion Isle is honoured at the 9th Paris Dive Show
This Overseas Department undertakes numerous actions to promote and developp its touristic activities, especially its diving side. With a 60 sq m stand, the Touristic Committee of Reunion and its diving centers will make the visitors discovers numerous spots made as for first dives as for deep exploration. Parrot fishes, angel sharks, trumpets, clowns, these names of fishes already make us think of coloured sea beds. A water warm and clear during all the year. A chance to see turtles, dolphins, manta rays or to hear, in winter, the whales sing. 150 species of corals and 500 of fishes: the Reunion coral reef is one of the richest of the world. Before going to Reunion, we suggest you to discover this marvelous isle during 4 days, through musical activities or tasting the local products as the famous Rhum.

HISTORICAL EXHIBITION
The diving History must be a part of the diver's knowledge. To give it with books and the exhibition of major pieces, models and equipment reconstruction, is the best known way. Exhibition made by Philippe Damon.
To celebrate the 140e birthday of the 1867 Universal Exhibition in Paris, major pieces and documents linked to this event will be displayed at the Paris Dive Show. Among them: the original diploma given to the company Rouquayrol-Denayrouze in 1867 and the copy of the regulator.
